  • Tdap Immunization Clinic @ PES March 27th Is your child a rising 6th grader in KGCS? The state of VA requires students entering 6th grade to have had the Tdap shot before the first day of school August 13, 2018. The King George Health Department will provide the required Tdap booster shot free of charge at each elementary school. A consent form must be completed for your child to receive the immunization.   • Kindergarten Registration Day King George County Schools Kindergarten Registration Day Friday, March 23 @ 9:30 am. If your child turns 5 by September 30, it's time to sign up for kindergarten. Parents/guardians and rising kindergarten students are invited to visit their local elementary school at 9:30 am to participate in kindergarten transition activities and register their child for the 2018-2019 school year.
